Creating a recurring Workflow Approval Aging job



Description of Issue

Workflow approvals are sitting idle and a reminder needs to be sent to anyone with an idle approval



Context

Cause

The Approval Aging reminder in Workflow is a report that can either be run once from the Workflow Settings module, or it can be scheduled to run using the scheduler engine.   



Resolution
  1. Log in to the desired Munis (EERP) environment

  2. Under System Administration → Workflow Administration, select Workflow Settings

  3. With the Approval Aging tab selected, Click Define in the top ribbon

  4.  For Execute approval aging, select the drop-down menu and select At a scheduled time

    1. Select any additional options as required

  5. Select Accept in the top ribbon

  6. On the left side of the pop-up that appears, select Recur

  7. Set a schedule for the report to recur, then select OK at the bottom

    1. Change job notification settings as required

  8. Select OK at the bottom of the screen

  9. Select OK on the next pop-up to confirm the scheduling of the job
