Description of Issue
Need to Export them from one environment to Import on another or create a backup file.

- ReadyForms
- Printer Definitions
- Physical printers
- RF printers
- Export
- Import
- Backup
- Refresh
Cause
Printer Definition was created in one environment but there is need to also have them in another environment. Instead of re-creating them, they can be exported from one environment and imported into another.
Resolution
Export Printer Definitions:
- Log into the Munis environment to export from.
- From the Munis menu, navigate to System Administration > Printer / Device Administration > Printer Definitions. This page contains:
- RF physical printers,
- local printers,
- Non_xml printer definitions if site uses DocOrigin (TylerForms printer)
- Specific printer definitions for Auto PO process (AUPO) and/or Bill reprint used with Bill Inquiry or Adjustment Screen
- Click Search and then Accept without defining any parameters. At the bottom of the page it will show the total amount of printer definitions
- Click Export.
- At the bottom of the screen you will see a message about the exported file name. The file is saved to a text file (i.e. spprintr0001.txt) on the Munis Spool directory (My Saved Reports).
- Go to My Saved Reports and double-click on the file to save out of Munis. The file should appear on Download folder on the PC.
Import Printer Definitions
- Log into the Munis environment to import to.
- From the Munis menu, navigate to System Administration > Printer / Device Administration > Printer Definitions
- Click Import.
- Click Define.
- Click the search button located in the Import file field and locate the file you exported earlier.
