ESR how to update ArcGIS Geocode Server URL

Client requesting how to update their GIS server URL.

Client updated their GIS server.

1. Log into ESR administration:

   1. Ex. https://tylertechme.tyler311.com/1234prod/tyler311/administration/

2. Click External Systems>under Action column click the ellipses (three vertical dots) that pertains to the GIS service to update

   1. Ex; World Geo Coder

3. Edit external system window click Setting:

   1. ArcGIS Geocode Server URL: Update URL

4. Click Save then click Done

5. Under System settings>Mapping:

   1. Geocoding System: Verify the proper GIS system is selected that was updated from step 2

   2. Geocode service URL: Update URL with the same information provided on step 3

6. Scroll down and click Save.

Sites would manage their own GIS servers and update the URLs in the GIS configuration Munis module to point to the correct address. This also applies to sites using GIS online external servers.
