Employees missing hours in payroll from Time Entry





Description of Issue
  • I have multiple employees that submitted time through ExecuTime and none of their hours from the timesheet are in the payroll.

  • Employees from one department that use ESS are missing in Earnings and Deductions from Time Entry



Context
  • Munis

  • ExecuTime

  • ESS

  • Time Entry

  • Earnings and Deductions



Cause
  • Time Entry batch that contained all missing employee data had not been moved into the payroll.

  • Time Entry batch for that department contained 0 employees.



Resolution

To move the batch with employees into the payroll:

  1. Access Time Entry: Payroll > Payroll Processing > Time Entry Processing > Time Entry

  2. Search on the batch

  3. Click on the More drop-down > click Verify, click Yes to approve the batch

  4. Click Move in the ribbon, click Execute, click Continue on the Generate Options prompt

For the batch with 0 employees:

  1. Access Time Entry: Payroll > Payroll Processing > Time Entry Processing > Time Entry

  2. Add a new batch and pull in the employees as needed.

  3. Click on the More drop-down > click Verify, click Yes to approve the batch

  4. Click Move in the ribbon, click Execute, click Continue on the Generate Options prompt
