Can a Capital Asset number be changed?

Cause

Informational 



Resolution

The Capital Asset number cannot be changed once the asset has been created

  • If the asset is still in a New status, it can be deleted and then re-entered with the correct number

  • If the asset status is Active, refer to Removing an Active Asset
