Longevity pay is recalculating in Employee Job/Salary
Description of Issue
When updating base pays for raises in Employee Job/Salary, some employees' longevity pays recalculated when they should not have.
Context

Cause
The Longevity Table was checked with the Allow Recalc of Pays option.
Resolution
- Go to Pay Master (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Pay Master).
- Search for the longevity pay code. Click Accept. Click Longevity in the toolbar.
- Click Update. Uncheck the Allow Recalc of Pays checkbox. Click Accept.
Additional Information
- When the Allow Recalc of Pays checkbox is checked, it allows the system to recalculate the Longevity pay when the pay is adjusted (for example, if the effective date is updated in Employee Job/Salary).
- When the Allow Recalc of Pays checkbox is not checked, that tells the system to only recalculate longevity if the Longevity and Experience report is processed.
