Cannot generate ACA Electronic Files due to Mag Media errors

When we go to generate our Electronic Files for the IRS, we are stopped due mag media errors.

• Affordable Care Act Reporting
• Create 1094/5-B/C Electronic File
• Employee 1095-B/C

Special Characters exist in the Employee 1095 records.

Special Characters such as commas, periods, pound/hashtag symbols, apostrophes, ampersand, double spaces, and leading spaces, will cause the Electronic File to not generate.

You will need to review Employee 1095 records to remove all special characters.

A report is generated which can be exported to excel for easier viewing.
