How to prevent pays with zero amounts from generating into payroll

Is there a way to prevent pays that have no amounts or hours from generating into the payroll? 

• Munis
• Payroll Control Settings
• Payroll Start and Status 

Some pay codes with all zeros were showing in the TRS report. 

1. Go to Payroll Control Settings (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Payroll Control Settings)
2. Click on the line for Generate - Include Zero Pay Lines. Click Accept. 
3. Update the Value from a Y to N. Click Accept.
