Description of Issue
I need to do a Mass Step Increase for employees and do not want frozen employees to move up a step.
Context
- Munis
- Mass Step Increase
- Employee Job/Salary
Resolution
- Go to Mass Step Increase. (Human Resources/Payroll>Payroll>End of Period>Mass Salary Changes>Mass Step Increase)
- Click Define.
- Define Effective Date, and other applicable information for set of employees to apply step increase.
- Click Accept. Click Output-Post.
- Proof will note the old step and new step for employees moving up a step.
- Frozen and Max Step employees will be noted and will not move up a step or get an increase.
- Max Step employees will need the Mass Contract Change processed to get the increased rate on a new Salary Table at their Max Step, if applicable.

- Mass Step Increase will only move employees up one step.
