Error adding employee into payroll - Job is position controlled Valid position number is required.

I am trying to add an employee into payroll and am getting an error. 

Job is position controlled Valid position number is required.

• Munis
• Payroll Start and Status
• Earnings and Deductions
• Employee Job/Salary
• Position Control 

The Job Class on the Position Control Record did not match the Job Class on the Employee's base pay in Employee Job/Salary.

1. Go to Position Control. (Human Resources>Position Control and Budgeting>Position Control)
2. Search for the position. Click Accept. Click Update. 
3. Update to the correct Job Class. Click Accept.
