Error Adding an Account in Account Master - Org Object or Project Code Does Not Exist

• User is getting errors adding segment or project code
• Account entry method is set to O in the Attributes tab in User Attributes

Errors:

Org code must first be defined in glorgans.
Object code must first be defined in globject.
Project code must first be defined in paprjmmt.

Account Master
Project Master
Chart of Account Segments
Chart Manager

• Segments did not exist in Chart of Account Segments/Chart Manager
• Project code did not exist in Project Master

To add an Org or Object code:

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set/Up Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments

1. Click GL segment dropdown
2. Select Organization Code or Object Code 
3. Accept
4. Add
5. Enter Org or Object
6. Once defined click Accept to add

Reopen Account Master Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set/Up Chart of Accounts > Account Master and try again 

To add a Project code:

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Project Accounting > Projects Within General Ledger > Project Master

1. Click Add
2. Enter Project Code and mandatory marked with asterisks at minimum
3. Once defined click Accept to add
4. Reopen Account Master Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set/Up Chart of Accounts > Account Master and try again 

Chart Manager can also be used to create Org or Object codes
