Description of Issue

Journal Import GNI is going to held status and should be going to approved.

Context
  • Import Journals
  • GNI
  • Workflow
Cause
  • GL Settings 'Default Journal Status' is set to Approved
  • GLJ (GL Journal Approvals) are set up
  • 'Release after Import' is not checked during import
Resolution
  • In the Import Journals Program check off 'Release after Import'. This will release the Imported Journal into Workflow so the Status will display as Pending Approval.
  • If the Journal should not go into workflow, please review the GL Journal Approval set up and make any updates needed.
