Journal Inquiry Print Output Functionality
Description of Issue
- Why is Journal Inquiry/Print out putting more than one journal?
- Site is not receiving expected results in when output completed?
Context
- Journal Inquiry/Print
- Output (Excel, PDF, Display/Preview, Save Text/Spool File/Saved Reports/My Saved Reports and Print)
- Record Set
Cause
Journal Inquiry will output the entire record set of selected journals.
Resolution
- Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > Journal Inquiry/Print
- Select Search or Journal Inquiry Print Advanced Find
- Enter Record Selection Variables
- Accept
- Review the number of journals returned at bottom of the screen.
- Single record returned, and if correct move to next step.
- Multiple record returned. Select Browse to review all records at once
- Multiple record returned. Use Browse Arrows at the bottom of the screen to confirm what was selected one at a time
- Select needed Output (Excel, PDF, Display/Preview, Save Text or Print)
- Â Output will include entire record set, adjust record set if needed before output.
Additional Information
- Auditor Requesting List of all Fiscal Year Journals
- Wildcard characters used in other Munis module programs are accepted
- Only one wild card type can be used at at time
