Unable to close projects and associated GL accounts- Does not have General Maintenance on Accounts permission

Project Master

Permissions have not been granted to maintain GL accounts.

To grant permission to maintain GL accounts, please follow the steps below. Without this permission, users will not be able to able to use the "Close associated GL accounts" while closing a project.

Please note that changes to a role will affect all assigned users on that role. Please see List of users assigned a specific role to determine who a role is assigned to.

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Search for the User Id
2. Select a role that grants General Ledger permissions and hit Edit Role
3. Select the General Ledger folder
4. Update
5. Check the box for the permission for General Maintenance on Accounts
6. Click Accept
7. Once the changes have been made, please have the user close the Project Master program and reopen it, they will now be able to close associated GL accounts
