Payment Methods Summary Missing on Posting Report

Cause

This loss of functionality was reported from sites that upgrade from Munis 11.3.x.x to 2019.1.x.x when posting batches out of the Payments Journal Program. Upon reviewing the posting report, the Payments Journal Methods Summary section is missing from the report. 

Resolution

Limited Workaround

  1. During the Output Posting process, users can choose Save and confirm the Save As Type is set to Plain Text (.txt) to save the report to the spool file. Be sure to label the report title to be able to easily locate in the next step.
  2. Navigate to Departmental Functions>My Saved Reports and locate the Saved Report from the previous step. 
  3. The Report will not be a PDF, however it will contain the Payment Methods Summary. Users can print this report as a substitute report for the missing information.
  4. This is the only available workaround until the fix under MUN-389927 is available for download and install.
