Cannot update Allocation Detail in Employee Job Salary

Description of Issue

When I click into the Allocation Detail in Employee Job/Salary, it jumps to the Cycles/Other tab and I cannot update the Allocation Detail.

Cause

The user's Role does not have Maintain Job/Pay GL checked off under the General tab.

Resolution
  1. Go to System Administration > Security > User Attributes.
  2. Search for user's User ID.
  3. Click the user's Payroll role.
  4. Click Edit Role.
  5. Click HR Management / Payroll.
  6. Click Update.
  7. Click the checkbox for Maintain Job / Pay GL.
  8. Click Accept.
