Incorrect Overtime Policy Applying

Description of Issue

Employee recently was promoted however the wrong overtime policy is still applying to his previous pay period, how can we update this?

Cause

The employee's previous pay period was still falling under their old overtime policy.

Resolution

To save an employee for history:

  1. Select System Admin
  2. Select Master File Management
  3. Select the clock (2nd action icon) next to the employee's name
  4. Scroll to the bottom and under Save properties, verify that the first drop down has the current pay period displayed (this is the current information that we want saved over the previous pay period)
  5. Then, select the second radio button Save for Whole History and Override Subsequent Changes, Starting at 
  6. Use the drop down to select the start date of the previous pay period
  7. Select Save for Specified Past Pay Period
