Excess Hours Being Entered For Salaried Employee
Description of Issue
Manually adding time to a salaried employee's timecard puts them over their threshold of hours.

Cause
Pay code that is being manually added to the timecard is not marked for Negates Salary Regular Time.
Resolution
The following steps below will allow the salaried employee to have their correct threshold on their timecard.
- Navigate to System Admin
- Master File Management
- Click on the pencil icon for the pay code in question
- Scroll down to Timecard Settings > Check the box for Negates Salary Regular Time
- Scroll down and click Save
Additional Information
If an employee is marked as a Salaried employee, the timecard will be fabricated and unable to be modified. The setting Negates Salary Regular Time will replace their fabricated time on the timecard and keep the correct threshold of hours.
