Longevity Date default in Employee Job Salary

Cause
Resolution
When add a new Employee Job/Salary (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary)Â record, the Effective Date of the Job Salary record defaults into the Longevity Date field.
There are multiple ways the Longevity Date can be changed:
- Manually. Search for the employee's longevity pay in Employee Job/Salary. Click Update. Enter the new Longevity Date. Click Accept.
- Duplicate. Search for the employee's base pay record in Employee Job/Salary. Click Duplicate. Enter the new Effective Date. Click Accept.Â
- Then search for the employee's longevity pay and Update the longevity date if needed.
- Recalc.  Search for the longevity pay type in Employee Job/Salary. Click Recalc in the toolbar. Check box for Change Longevity Pay Dates. Enter the New Longevity Date. Click Accept.
- Posting the change when running the Longevity and Experience Report (Human Resources>Employee Job/Pay Classification>Longevity and Experience Report).
- Running an Employee Pay Import in Employee Import (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Import).
