Accrual Tables
The Accrual Tables defined when creating the report are all set with Earning Method 09-Anniversary date Via Batch or 10-From Tables Via Batch. Employees attached to those Accrual Tables can only earn time through the Accrual Update, which can be run any number of times. Only Tables set up with an Earning Method that uses the Payroll process to earn time (ex. 01-From Time Worked Within Payroll) will produce a forecast amount. The system can use the number of pays an employee will receive within the date range defined to determine what the employee will earn for that particular Accrual Type.Â
To determine the Earning Method for a Table:
Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Setup>Accrual Tables.
Search for Type and Table. Click Accept.
Click Settings tab.
Review Earning Methods field to determine if the Table uses one of the following:
01-From Time Worked Within Payroll
02-Whole Units Within Payroll
03-All or None Within Payroll
04-By Increment Within Payroll
05-All or None Within Payroll by Percent
08-Anniversary Date Within Payroll
If the table uses one of the above Earning Methods:
Navigate to Payroll>Accrual Processing>Accrual Forecast Report.
Click Define.
Enter Type and Table Range.Â
Click Accept.Â
Choose Output, PDF or Display.Â
