Description of Issue

Checkbox to abate off fees is not accessible in Abatement Entry

Cause

The reason code being used for the abatement is not setup to allow for removal of fees

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Property Revenues>Property Tax Billing>Northeast>Massachusetts>Assessor Setup>Exemption Codes
  2. Click Search
  3. Enter exemption code in the Code box
  4. Click Accept
  5. Click Update
  6. Put a checkmark in the box that says Allow exemption to exceed max percentage
  7. Click Accept


Additional Information

Checking this box allows for the entire tax and fees to be abated in one transaction.

You may need to exit abatement entry and go back in for it to see this change.
