Description of Issue

How do I setup Amazon to send email from Munis?

Context
  • Amazon
  • AmazonSes
  • Munis
  • Munis Self Service
Cause

Munis and Munis Self Service will need to be configured to send email using AmazonSES

Resolution
  • SMTP Server: provided by Amazon will look similar to: email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
  • Port: 587
  • TLS/SSL: Checked
  • Username and Password: a real email address (not distribution group) that can send email
