ExecuTime - Time shows Approved instead of Transferred after Move to Payroll

Description of Issue

Employees accrual balances are not updating in ExecuTime. Their time is not updating from Approved to Processed after we select the Payroll Posted button.

Cause

Time Processing setting for, Update time entry status on export, was not checked.

Resolution

From within ExecuTime:

  1. Go to Time Processing (System Admin>UI Environment Flags>Time Processing).
  2. Check the checkbox next to the setting, Update time entry status on export.
  3. Click Save.
Additional Information
  • This setting needs to be selected in order for the Move to Payroll to update the time entry records from Approved to Transferred. 
  • The Payroll Posted command will never update a time entry record from Approved to Processed. It will only update them from Transferred to Processed.
