For questions on how employees should fill out the 2020 W-4 form, it is recommended to contact the IRS or a Tax Professional for advice.Â
As far as Munis is concerned, if an employee checks the Step 2 checkbox and also puts values in Steps 3 and 4, when this information is input into the Employee's Deduction record the system will still calculate accordingly.Â

- Go to Employee Deductions (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Deductions).
- Search for the employee and Federal Deduction code (3000). Click Accept. Click Update. Define applicable values in the W-4 section. Click Accept.Â
