How to create W-3 Report
Description of Issue
How do I create the W-3 report? My auditor is requiring this report and will not accept the W-2 Register.

Cause
W-2 total information is required by an auditor who doesn't accept the W-2 Register totals.
Resolution
- Access W-2 Forms Print: Payroll > W-2 and 1099-R Processing > W-2 Forms Print
- Click Define, enter the year
- Click Define and verify the Location, Check Loc, Group/BU, State, Employee and Name are not restricted
- Click Accept, verify the number of potential records selected matches your total number of W-2s
- Click W-3 Output in the ribbon
- Click Define and enter all fields on this screen as it pertains to your site
- Click Accept, click Print Report
Additional Information
The totals on this report should match the totals on your W-2 Register.
