Error creating Ohio W-2 electronic file

I am receiving the following error when creating my W-2 file with the Ohio format:

spcntrec - Unable to prepare select statement, status: -201 [ISAM 0]

Additional information concerning a status error of -201:

A syntax error has occurred.

User was generating the OHWM - OHIO W2 EFW2 electronic file and had the Only include LITs With Selected Reference Code enabled, and no Reference Code defined on the Employee to Include tab.

1. Access Create Electronic File: Payroll > W-2 and 1099-R Processing > Create Electronic File
2. Click Define and enter the reporting year in the W-2/1099-R Year field
3. Click Define
4. Enter the appropriate reference code in the LIT Reference field and click the Text File option in the ribbon to generate the file
