Description of Issue

I received an error when trying to upload my MA W-2 File. The error states:

W-2 Bulk file error MAW2-X010
ELECTRONIC FORM NOT PROPERLY FORMATTED

Context
  • Munis
  • W-2 Wizard
  • Create Electronic File
Cause

The CR/LF check-box was not defined when the file was created. 

Resolution
  1. On the Create Electronic file step, check off CR/LF
  2. Create new Electronic File.
