Build Current Elections not building all elections
Description of Issue
- When we run the Build Current Year Elections not all elections are building for employees
Context
- Munis 2019.1+
- Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Employee Benefits Enrollment
Cause
- The End Date on current Employee Deduction record must equal or be greater than the End Date as assigned in the Benefit Enrollment Settings on the Current Year End field
- The employee has prior instances of the same deduction record and the prior instances are currently inactive
Resolution
- To review, you will need access to Benefit Enrollment Settings and Employee Deductions
- Navigate to the program Enrollment Campaign Manager
- Menu > Human Capital Management > Benefits Administration > Benefits Enrollment > Enrollment Campaign Manager
- Menu > Human Capital Management > Benefits Administration > Benefits Enrollment > Enrollment Campaign Manager
- Review the field for the field Campaign End Date
- Ensure this date is accurately assign to the end of the benefit year
- Navigate to Employee Deductions and locate the issue employee and deduction record
- Menu > Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions
- Review the End Date on the Employee Deduction
- Ensure this date is either matching or exceeding the Campaign End Date from above
- Review if there are prior Employee Deduction records for the same deduction
- Review if the Active field is inactive or active on the prior records
- If the Active field is currently unchecked, you will want to update and enable this Active field
