Payroll Report including Employee Master data and Gross Wage Accumulators

Description of Issue

I am looking for a report in Payroll that includes Employee Name, SSN, Hire Date, Termination Date, Job Title, and Medicare and Federal gross wages.

Resolution

There is no canned report to pull all those fields into one report. An export from Employee Inquiry and Accumulators report will pull all the needed data. 

  1. Go to Employee Inquiry (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Inquiry)
  2. Click Search. Define the screen to include the necessary find set of employees. Click Accept. 
  3. Click the Excel icon to export to Excel. 
  4. Excel Report Option prompt will display. Select Full Report. 
  5. Once list of exportable fields displays, click Select None in the toolbar. 
  6. Check the checkboxes next to the fields needed to Export ( First Name, Last Name, SSN, Hire Date, Termination Date, Job Class Description, etc) Click Accept. 
  7. Go to Accumulators Report (Payroll>Employee History>Accumulators Report)
  8. Search for the find set of employees and records needed (Example: Define year, deduction 1100|3000 for Medicare and Federal Tax, Frequency of Y for yearly) Click Accept. 
  9. Click the Excel icon to export to excel. 
Additional Information

If sites use Cubes or SSRS reporting, a custom report could possibly be created to pull the needed data into one file/report.
