The Budget Year is invalid in Budget Settings

Budget Settings error Budget year is invalid

An attempt was made to update the Budget Preparation for field to a year beyond Next Year in Budget Settings.

(ex. Current Year is 2019 in General Ledger Settings, but an attempt was made to change Budget Preparation for year to 2021)

Financials > Budget Processing > Budget Settings

The Budget Preparation for year can only be set to Current Year and Next Year.

In order to set the year desired, Year End Close must be processed. 

The Budget Preparation for setting is designed for the Budget Completion Journal only. Users can still update any budget projection meant for Next Year 2 in Next Year Budget Entry and Central Budget Entry.
