DIA Condition - Property Charges - Invalid Charge Code
DIA Condition - Property Charges - Invalid Charge Code
Description of Issue
The DIA has identified properties with an invalid charge code.
Context
- Munis
- Data Integrity Assistant
- DIA
- Property Tax
- Real Estate
- Personal Property
Cause
Parcels/Personal Properties have an invalid charge code associated.
Resolution
Each record should be reviewed prior to correcting.
If the offending charge should be on the property, a new charge code record will need to be added for the Year, AR Category, and Charge Code identified by the DIA.
If the offending charge should not be on the property, there are two options for resolving the error.
- Auto-correct. Auto-correct will remove the offending property charge for all records.
- Manual. Navigate to the applicable tax program (AR Category 20 = Parcels, AR Category 25 = Personal Property). Locate the offending records from the DIA. Then select Charges to display all property charges. Click to highlight the offending charge code and then use delete from the ribbon.
