Cause

Formatting completed within Microsoft Word for the backer and saved as Rich Text Format will not be carried into the Purchase Order Template.

Resolution

Any special formatting (Center Justify) will not be present within the Rich Text File when added to the Template.

  • The .rtf file should be created using WordPad. Microsoft word will not work properly and it adds odd characters on the background causing processing issues.
  • Only space, Enter, or Tab should be used.

To update/create the file

  1. Open WordPad
    1. Do not use Microsoft Word
  2. Enter desired information onto page
    1. Information has to manually be entered in WordPad
    2. Copy and Paste can cause issues
  3. Format address as desired for font style and size
