Not all asset group codes are available for selection when updating an asset record

Asset group code was not created for Administrative department on asset record

Create a new asset group code for the Administrative department on the asset record

Open Miscellaneous Codes (Asset Maintenance > Setup Center > Miscellaneous Codes)

1. In 2019.1 click the group that matches the asset category on the asset record Equipment Group, Infrastructure Group, Street Group or Technology Group (you cannot create group codes for custom categories in 2019.1)

   1. Click Add

   2. Select a Department matching Administrative department on asset record

   3. Type in the Code, Description, and Short desc

   4. Click Accept

2. In 2021.1 and higher, click Asset Group

   1. Click Add

   2. Type the Code

   3. Select a Category and Admin Department to match asset record (both system and custom categories can be selected)

   4. Type in the Description and Short desc

   5. Click Accept
