Need permission to delete microsoft templates
User is unable to delete mail merge templates from Maintain Templates tab of the Mail Merge program.Â

User has not been granted maintenance privileges by the template owner. The template owner is the user who initially uploaded the template to Munis.
Each template can be setup to allow maintenance by either just the Owner, a selection of Users, users assigned to a specific department, or Public (all users). The list of users or departments that have maintenance privileges can be found under the Access Lists: Only the users listed below can maintain this template: section of the Matain Templates tab. One of the users on this list will need to add the user that needs to be able to delete or maintain the templates.
To add a user to the maintain list:
Click Update
Set the Maintain dropdown to either Users or Department
If the dropdown is already set to Users or Department you can update the list by clicking Update List at the bottom.
Check off the users or departments that you want to allow to maintain the template
Click OK
Click Accept
Repeat these steps for each template you want to grant access to
