Charge Codes year cannot exceed General Ledger Settings Default Year by two years

Unable to Add charge code in the Charge Codes program where the year is two years greater than the Default Year in General Ledger Settings.

An error message appears when searching for a Charge code in the Charge Codes program where the year is two years greater than the Default Year in General Ledger Settings.

When Charge Code year is two years greater than the Default Year in General Ledger Settings

Charge Codes program will only allow you to create a charge code two years greater than the General Ledger Settings Default Year.

Workaround is to create Charge Codes in either the Current or Default Year, and use the Mass Copy button in the Charge Codes program to copy forward to future years. See How to Copy Charge Codes to New Fiscal Year
