Personnel Action Entry Posting is hanging after selecting Output-Post

Approved Personnel Action Entry won't post.  When selecting Output-Post it will hang without a proof.  No error is displayed.

This is likely due to hidden objects in the Short Desc and Long Description Fields in Job Class Master as it was Imported into Munis via Excel

The hidden objects in the Short Desc and Long Description Fields in Job Class Master need to be updated, overwritten and re-saved.

1. Please go to Munis>Human Capital Management>Payroll>Payroll Setup>Job Class Master

2. Click Search

3. Enter the Job Class Code from the Personnel Action that is unable to Post

4. Click Update

5. Manually overwrite the Short Desc and Long Description Fields with something like Test

6. Click Accept

7. Click Update

8. Manually overwrite the Short Desc and Long Description Fields with the original Short Desc and Long Description

9. Click Accept

Please return to Personnel Action Entry and you will be able to Output-Post without issue.
