Remove Pay Type from displaying on Payroll Advice



Description of Issue

We use a comp pay type for tracking purposes only, we do not want it to display on payroll advices.

Cause




Resolution

To prevent a particular pay type from displaying on the pay stub you would want to bring up that pay type in Pay Master and update the Paycheck/Cycles tab. 

  1. From the Tyler Hub navigate to Pay Master (Human Capital Management > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Pay Master)

  2. Search for pay type that you are looking to exclude from Payroll Advices

  3. Once displayed click on the Paycheck/Cycles tab and hit update to remove the checkmark from Print Hours Worked

  4. Click Accept at the top of the info bar
