Create Security Permissions Role



Description of Issue

Client would like to create a new role in Time & Attendance.

Cause

The client would like to create a new role in Security & Permissions



Resolution
  1. Navigate to System Admin

  2. Select Security & Permissions → Select (plus) 

  3. Enter the name of the role and description

  4. Select Menu Access → select the box beside any area listed that this role should have menu access to

  5. Select Employee Access → select the box beside all employees this role should be able to see

  6. Select Other → check each box that applies

  7. Select Notifications → Select all locations you would like this role to have access to → with each location there is an option to choose whether certain specific events have notifications sent  (This will only apply if the version is 2018 as Workflow will control Notifications for versions 2019+)

  8. Select Save
