How do I create a new pay code?

The client needs to add a new pay code in Time and Attendance.Â
Select System AdminÂ
Select Master File Management Â
Select Pay Codes → Select the ( +) iconÂ
Fill out all the information as needed:
Name → this needs to match what is in the payroll, the description does not have to match
Benefit Settings-> will this pay code be accrued (hold a balance) or non accruedÂ
Timecard Settings →will the pay code be regular, overtime, will the overtime be able to be transferred to comp time, just to mention a few
Additional Settings →this governs where you will see the pay code, and other specific setting such as if TSA is allowed, etc.
If security is needed select the ( +) icon under the "Defined Rules" section
Select Save
