Description of Issue
Receiving the message Error fetching select_txyrparm. 100 in a property tax billing program.Â
Context
- Property Tax BillingÂ
- Error fetching select_txyrparm. 100Â
- Tax Year SettingsÂ
Cause
There is no Tax Year Settings setup for the necessary year and category or the Tax Year Setting for the year and category is setup incorrectly.Â
Resolution
- Many of the tax programs use either the Current Assessment Year or Current Collection Year defined in the Tax Settings program to determine which Tax Year Setting record to select. Determine which Tax Year Setting record the program is failing to select by determining what the Current Assessment Year or Current Collection Year are defined as in the Tax Settings program using the below guides:Â
- If either the Current Assessment Year or Current Collection Year in Tax Settings needs to be updated, please see:Â
- Once the appropriate year is determined, navigate to the Tax Year Settings program either by searching or using the following path: Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Assessor Setup > Tax Year Settings
- Click Search.Â
- Enter the Category and Year for the Tax Year Setting record that is failing to select.Â
- If no records return, copy an older Tax Year Setting record to the Current Assessment or Collection Year as needed or, if no older Tax Year Setting records exist, add a Tax Year Setting record using the guides below.Â
- If a record does return, make sure that it is setup correctly. Some frequent setup errors are outlined below.Â
MA Tax:
Real Estate - Category 20:Â
- By design, MA sites only use one Category 20 Tax Year Setting for each year. Because of this, the programs select the Tax Year Setting for the year defined in Tax Settings, Category 20, and Cycle/Com 0.Â
- Navigate to the Tax Year Settings program either by searching or using the following path: Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Assessor Setup > Tax Year Settings
- Click Search.Â
- Enter the 20 as the Category and the Year for the Tax Year Setting record that is failing to select.Â
- Make sure there is a Tax Year Setting record for the year, Category 20, and Cycle/Com 0.Â
- If there is no Tax Year Setting record for year, Category 20, and Cycle/Com 0 copy an older Tax Year Setting record to the Current Assessment or Collection Year being sure to set the Cycle/Com to 0 or, if no older Tax Year Setting records exist, add a Tax Year Setting record using the guides below.Â
- If a Tax Year Setting record was created with a Cycle/Com other than 0 for Category 20, it is okay to just leave it in the database. It will not be used. Please be careful when copying Tax Year Settings for the next year to not copy this Tax Year Setting.Â
Personal Property - Category 25:Â

- Click Search.Â
