Unable to Add a Geofence Maintenance Area to a Geofence Policy

How can an area restriction be added to a geofence policy?

Cause

Client did not select the + icon in order to add the geofence maintenance area to the policy. 

Resolution

To add a geofence maintenance area to a geofence policy:

  1. Select System Admin
  2. Select Policies & Rules Engines
  3. Select Geolocation Policy
  4. Select the + icon
    1. Input a name for the policy
    2. Use the Geolocation Policy Type drop down menu to select a policy type
    3. Use the Geofence Restrictions drop down menu to select the geofence maintenance area 
    4. Select the + icon to add the restricted area to the policy
    5. Under Policy Applies to, use the Location drop down menu to select a Location
    6. Use the Company drop down menu to select a Company
    7. Use the Division drop down menu to select a Division
    8. Use the Department drop down menu to select a Department
    9. Use the Pay Period drop down menu to select a Pay Period
  5. Add Exclusions if any are needed
  6. Select Save
