Employee Certification Type, Area, and Level drop-down menus are empty

Description of Issue
  • There used to many codes to select from in the Type, Area, and Level drop-down menus of Employee Certifications, however now they are all blank
  • When I go to add a record into Employee Certifications the Type field is defaulting with a specific code
Context

Cause
  • A record exists in the Certification Codes program, which is overriding codes previously setup in Payroll Miscellaneous Codes
Resolution
  • Access Munis > Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Personnel Setup > Certification Codes and Add/Delete records as needed
Additional Information
  • If records exist in the Certification Codes program, Munis will force every record entered into Employee Certifications to have one of the Type, Area, Level combinations defined here. If your site would rather allow the end user to select from a drop-down of choices for each field (codes pulled from Payroll Miscellaneous Codes), then no records should exist in the Certification Codes program.
