How to create a manual inventory receipt

How do I create a manual receipt?

Cause

Resolution
  1. Click on Receipt button on the menu ribbon in the Inventory Transaction program 
    1. This will open the receipt transaction window
  2. Click Add 
  3. Enter the item number you are receiving on, the warehouse the item is being stored, the amount you are receiving, and the unit cost.
    1. A Purchase Order number can be manually entered on the receipt transaction. It will not impact the Purchase Order if added during a manual receipt
  4.  Enter the Transaction Date for the receipt.
  5. Click Accept to save your entry
  6. Click Post in the menu ribbon
    1. The receipt has been completed and stock has been added to the inventory item
