Description of Issue
Need Datasource configured for Subscriptions in SSRS
Context
- SSRS Reports
- Munis All Versions
- Tyler, SaaS Hosted Clients
Cause
Reports using default Datasource doesn't allow creation of Subscriptions
Resolution
SSRS subscriptions run un-attended on the Server, so the Datasource of the report should have credentials of a generic reporting account stored. If one such account does not exist, please see the following article to first create a generic account:
Create generic reporting account - SaaS
Configure the subscription datasource:
- Copy the connection string from an existing datasource.
- In SSRS URL, click on + New on the top right and select Data Source
- After providing an appropriate name for this datasource, paste the connection string from Step 1 in the Connection string textbox
- Under Credential section, select Using the following credentials
- Select Database user name and password from Type of credentials dropdown
- Please paste the credentials of generic reporting account.
- Click Create
