The Bank Codes program is available under multiple menu paths in Enterprise ERP. You can use the Bank Code option in the program path that you are processing in, or:

Financials Cash Management Bank Reconciliation Bank Codes

  1. Select Add

  2. Enter in a user-defined Bank Code or click +1 in the box to automatically select the next available number.

    1. The program first attempts to assign the next available number between 000 and 999. If no numeric codes are available, the program attempts to assign the next available alpha code between AAA and ZZZ. If no alpha codes are available, a user-defined code must be entered.

  3. Fill in the AddressZip CodeCityState/Providence of the bank as these are required fields.

  4. Under Status; select Active or Inactive.

    1. Inactive bank codes are not included in field help options for the Bank Code field in Enterprise ERP programs.

  5. If desired, enter another Bank Code in the Merge with section.

    1. The Merge with area is optional. It binds together the Banks, often used for the same bank with different addresses.  If you import all bank codes, the import creates unique codes for the new banks. If banks are merged, inactive banks are updated to a status of Inactive and merge-to banks are imported, if necessary.

  6. The Use Bank Transaction Import may be selected if desired.

    1. If selected, directs that this bank account is to be used with BAI, BTRS, or other bank transaction file imports. This checkbox must be selected to use the Bank Transaction Import and Bank Reconciliation Manager programs. When you select this checkbox, use the Accounts option to define the Enterprise ERP accounts for reconciliation.

  7. Enter in the Base Number.

    1. The base number is the first eight digits of the routing number

  8. Tab through past the Check Digit section.

    1.  The Check Digit is the ninth number of the Routing Number and will autofill automatically when you tab through, it cannot be entered.

  9. If desired enter in the Contact Information and Audit information.

  10. Finish by clicking Tab on a keyboard to go through any remaining options or click Accept to finish the process.

  11. Select Accounts in the ribbon
