I need to reverse a journal in the current year and repost to the prior year

Cause

Journal was created in an incorrect year and period



Resolution

  • MUNIS does not have functionality to reverse a current year journal and repost to the prior year

  • Reverse the original journal How to reverse a Journal Reversal 

  • Re-enter the journal and post to prior year period 13
