GEN Journal is not pulling into Classic Bank Reconciliation

GEN journal is not pulling into a bank record in Classic Bank Reconciliation

• Bank Reconciliation Classic
• Adjustments and Deposits Reconciliation
• Create Items

SOY BAL was entered as the Short Description (Reference 4 field) of the journal. Journal lines with this value are omitted from Bank Reconciliation because it is the same value used by system generated journals during the year end close process. 

Contact General Ledger Support. They can update the Reference 4 value.

Other reasons a GEN is not displaying on a Bank Record:

• Create Items has not been run for the Bank Account/Bank Code. 
• GL Account is not on the Bank Account in the Bank Codes program
• Journal Line Effective Date does not fall within the Bank Record range
• Bank Record was not recalculated after Create Items was processed.
