Default depreciation message when creating assets

Why is this default depreciation message received when creating new assets? 

New Capital Assets

Subclass XX has a default depreciate value of 'N'

Which differs from the current depreciate value of 'Y'.

Overwrite the current depreciate value with the default depreciate value?

Fixed/Capital Assets

User chose a depreciation flag on the record that is different than what was set up in the Sub-class codes program for sub-class code on the asset

Overwrite the default, keep the default, or update the default within the Sub-Class Code program
