ExecuTime / Munis As-One GL Account Permissions from Allocation Codes


Description of Issue

Is there a way to turn off the General Ledger (GL) Accounts that show because of the Allocation Codes?

  • Have set up JCD policy set to allow PL/GL selection
  • Location code within Munis does NOT have a GL code set assigned
  • Since no GL Accounts are set, should not display any GL codes in the drop down on the time sheet.
  • The employee does have an allocation assigned to them in the Employee Job/Salary and those GL codes in the allocation are displaying in the drop down

Cause

System working as designed. Additional clarification of system integrations needed.

Resolution

The system is working as designed. Even without a GL Code Set assigned in the Location Code, the allocation will show as this is how the functionality is supposed to work. The allocation gives the permissions.

To set the GL Code Set:

  1. Open Location Codes (Human Capital Management > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Location Codes)
  2. Find the desired Location Code(s)
  3. Choose GL Code Sets from the menu
  4. Add/Update/Delete the codes as desired
