Datacenter MUSYS event 5-18-23



Description of Issue
  • Cannot access Munis attachments from 5-18-23, error:

Attachment File Missing

the physical file for this attachment is missing.

Please delete this attachment record. 

  • Saved Reports for all users are missing for 5/18. They appear in the list of files in My Saved Reports, but they don't exist on the server.

  • Selecting document created on 5-18-2023 to open from Saved Reports program, returns error: 

Munis  (spsplmnt)

Unable to locate the file 'XXXX####.ext in the spool directory.

  • Users encountering permission error when saving reports on 5-18-2023:

ERROR Program stopped at 'apvdrmnt_vdrrpt.4gl', line number 710.

FORMS statement error number -1322. A report output file cannot be opened: \\fsrv_01\h\XXXX\spool_XXXX\apvdrmnt0001.txt: Permission denied.

  • Users encountering errors when completing transactions that generate reports automatically:

Report Incomplete

An error occurred while trying to join temporary files to produce your report.

Cause

Files or  TCM attachments saved to the EERP MUSYS directory between 1030A and 730P EST on 5/18/23 for Yarmouth Datacenter SaaS hosted clients are unavailable.

  • Details regarding this event can be found on Tyler Community. A formal root cause analysis has been released Tyler Community. 

  • Should you have been impacted by this event please create a case with EERP TSM SaaS in the Support Portal



Additional Information

Delayed emails during the times of the outage were reported, but emails eventually send following the service restoration.
